About the Photographer

Hello, I'm Jessica Nguyen!

I'm 21 years old & currently attend college. I hope everyone is safe & healthy during this pandemic. Please allow me to begin this exploration about myself by discussing some pathways I find myself interested in, photography, editing, & the medical field. I am currently indecisive on which future I see myself in because of the endless possibilities that await.

As a young adult, I believe pursing the medical field as a nurse & eventually progressing into a doctor is a smart & enjoyable decision. However, portrait photography has become one of my favorite pastimes due to the free reins within the passionate & creative world, which is why I had chosen to extend this passion of mine a bit further.

I have been a portrait photographer for about 5 years, crazy how time flies by so quick! The emotions I have felt throughout my educational years has driven me to accomplish goals, but has allowed me to take it for granted.

However, I plan on transferring to UTHealth or UTMB to continue following my dreams. I will close this chapter & open another that focuses on my desire to fulfill the medical career dream. I’m not sure of what specialty I would like to study within the field, but my goal is to become a successful doctor & hopefully do photography still.
